Global First for Vividas an Australian IT Technology Company
Vividas HD Streaming Technology to participate in the history-making broadcast of the Global Citizen Festival live from Central Park, New York
On the 29th September 2012, Vividas will partner with AEG Network Live, AEG Digital Media, VEVO, YouTube, AOL/ Huffington Post, Yahoo!, VH1.com, and NYTimes.com to stream live the Global Citizen Festival from Central Park in New York to millions of online viewers. By making the event accessible and free of charge over the Internet, Vividas is joining a mass movement to end extreme poverty by helping the Global Citizen Festival reach millions of people across the world.
The historic event is part of the ongoing Global Citizen Campaign – at the helm is Young Australian of the Year 2004 – Hugh Evans, who is CEO and Co-Founder of the non-profit organization, Global Poverty Project. The open-air concert will be staged on the Great Lawn as the world’s leaders gather in New York for the UN General Assembly.
The Global Citizen Festival will include performances by Neil Young with Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Band of Horses and K’naan, talent arranged by AEG LIVE Goldenvoice. The event’s Host Committee includes Katie Couric, Jeffrey Sachs, Jack Dorsey, Selena Gomez for U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Sophia Bush for Pencils of Promise, Olivia Wilde for Half the Sky Movement, Katharine McPhee for Malaria No More, and Erin Heatherton.

VIVIDAS JOINS FORCES WITH AEG TO STREAM LIVE CONCERT IN NY
New York, NY, September 19, 2012 – The Global Poverty Project is proud to announce that their upcoming Global Citizen Festival, produced by AEG Network LIVE and delivered by AEG Digital Media, will be live streamed and broadcast by an impressive list of media partners. The simultaneous distribution of this historic event allows the world to “attend” the festival, which will bring together leading non-profit organizations, musicians and notables in Central Park on September 29, 2012 as part of a mass movement to end extreme poverty.
